SFC Racing

Having a team is essential for racing. The team help with everything from nerves and anxiety to food and water. They provide assistance with the bike such as loading, unloading, driving to and from circuits, right down to little things like putting on and taking off paddock stands and tyre warmers. SFC Racing is lucky enough to have some excellent people within it. They are as follows:

Bill – Crew Chief

Classically trained engineer who is of great assistance in keeping the bike running, advising on servicing and also turns out to be very capable at repairing crash damage in a hurry! An ex-competitive rally co-driver who then went on to manage a kart team for years, competing at club events in the UK and Cyprus. Bill is the team crew chief.

DT – Time Keeper

Ex-competitive athlete who provides sport science expertise to the team. Having swum for the South and captained the England Netball team before the age of 18, DT left competitive sport to study sports science and psychology at University. She is currently primary time keeper for the team and team mascot.

Smully – Rider

Prior to racing Smully spent many years playing social rugby, a few years competing in triathlons and also undertook two marathons. Smully still has more of a rugby build than a racing build however he is the team rider.

Tea – Catering Manager and Photographer

Ex-competitive rally driver whose organisational prowess provides a number of services to the team including: Catering, Marketing, Photography, Travel and Logistics
